  1. I’m super excited for this! It’s looking fantastic. There’s clearly some really well thought out changes to the original 🙂

    1. Luna is such a beautiful name, suitable for the world of Twinsun ❤️
I love the fact that you introduced her to the story, adding more content in the spirit of the original game.

Can’t wait to see more of Luna. I’m curious about her role in the LBA2 remake. Will she become a wizard? Will she visit Zeelich together with us?
Can’t wait more lore about Twinsen’s family.
What happened to parents of Luna and Twinsen?
What’s the origin of Zoe, of FunFrock, the story of Twinsun?

I hope to get the answers in the new games. Can’t wait for more content and more lore❤️

  2. Why has the character changed from Zoe to Lara? Does this mean the sequel will not be remade as well?
It is also a shame that the original voices are no longer there.

    1. They have to do new voice recordings. It’s a good thing but adding a little sister for Twinsen and changing Zoe’s character are terrible ideas.

    1. I don’t mind the change in art style. I would probably end up liking it but they are going to ruin the story, so what’s the point?

Instead of giving herself up to the groboclones so Twinsen can escape, “Luna” (who is Twinsen’s newly invented little sister) is going to be taken prisoner instead.

Zoe seems to be some resistance person that Twinsen sees later. Ugh. 🙁 🙁 🙁

  3. I’m super excited!
I’ll definitely pre-order the special edition for this!
    🙂
I didn’t see a lot of Europe support though.
I’m from the Netherlands, is it possible to buy an English limited edition in Europe as well?
I prefer not to have the casing in German for example, or to have to import a UK version.

  4. What happened to Zoe? Why introduce this Lara as Twinsen’s sister?!

I think am not going to buy it anymore.

    1. Zoé is still in the game, they just changed her role. Luna will be the one kidnapped and Zoé will help Twinsen. She appears in the trailer with the rebels.

          1. All the characters are “pretty one-dimensional” in LBA. It’s a beautiful, simple story. There’s no reason to mess with it. They could flesh out the characters without radically changing them. Zoe isn’t a fighter. What’s wrong with that?

  5. I love the new trailer ❤️ both art direction and the music. The cutscenes look so beautiful!

I’m excited to meet Luna, Twinsen’s little sister. It’s great that we’ll get some new content and that Zoe will have a bigger role, like she does in LBA2. I hope that she’ll help us to defeat FunFrock and that we’ll she’ll meet Sendell together with Twinsen.

I also hope that we’ll see other elements of LBA2 in the remake – wizards, lighthouse, bigger role of Baldino and Joe 🍀

My only complain would be Zoe’s unflattering yellow mask, I don’t like it. I love her new look, both outfit and the hairstyle.

But I hope to see Zoe’s face without this yellow mask. I hope she’ll take it off at some point of the game so we could see her face normally.

Will you release the artbook as a physical paper book? I’d love to buy it even separately or later. I bet many of the fans would buy such book even separately

  6. Wow, it was a surprise to meet Luna instead of Zoe, but I hope that Twinsen’s future wife still exists in the game.
The game’s art is wonderful and I’m loving every piece of news that comes out. I’m hoping that the physical edition will be released in Brazil.

  7. I’m digging it! Interested in the sister swap for Zoe, I hope Zoe is still a character though. I’m here for it, the only thing I’m a little unsure about is the voices – I haven’t heard enough to tell for sure, but are the voices ai?

I’m such a fan you could do anything and I’d buy it, I just want this franchise revived. It looks good and I’m excited!

  8. Carlos Guillermo Madriz

I just hope you guys did not scratch Zoe from the history, I been playing 1 and 2 with my kids, I’ll let them be the ones who judge the remake. I love the effort to keep this history alive!

  9. Looking awesome. The Limited Edition coming with a digital soundtrack, I don’t think I have ever cared about a digital soundtrack to a game, before this. 🙂
Hmm, the little sister, looks too little. I hope it doesn’t turn into a chore protecting her or doing stealth locked playable sections with her or something. :/

  10. Black Twinsen sets off to save his never-heard-of sister from the clutches of a white evil dictator.
Along the way, he’ll meet his now super strong and independent albino ex-girlfriend, who needs no man.

  11. Hey Devs,
you are doing a great job! Dont worry about people complaining about the Artstyle or Luna. Its great to see the Game developing and great to see that you are willing to make some changes. Its impossible to get all people satisfied. I’ll really looking forwart to this Game!

    1. You can’t make everyone happy but why remake a game if you don’t want to keep the story?

Why not make a new game? There have been *really good* remakes that don’t change the central story.

  12. I understand that the art style may not appeal to many classic LBA fans and that the changes introduced to the plot could conflict with the personal lore of veteran players, but we are only a short time away from something that, not long ago, seemed like a simple shared wish.

I’m going to give it a try. I owe it to you (Devs) for keeping hope in this game and making the effort to bring it to the present day. ❤️

I’m going to continue wishing and waiting for the sequel remaster… But in the meantime, I’m going to ask you in a friendly way (and repeatedly) to share the “original” idea of LBA3 with the community! 🤞 (I already have the “no” so, what can i lose right? 😁)

  13. Everyone should pay attention to what they actually watch. Zoe is in the game (golden mask), probably with a more expanded role helping Twinsen throughout the journey. Luna is a new character which is a nice addition. The romance aspect will get more fleshed out than it was originally. I’ve got nothing, but confidence, especially that they brought LBA2 voice actor for Twinsen. As for the skin color, you should’ve grown up after 30 years, he’s an alien for Christ’s sake, who cares what color his skin is. Maybe you’ll get an option to customize it before starting the game. It’s the adventure that matters regardless how little or big may be.

    1. Part of growing up is understanding that everyone has their own opinion. You consider Luna a “nice addition” but not everyone feels that way. An expanded role for Zoe would let us learn more about her character not change it completely. Twinsen was not a rebel. It makes no sense for his girlfriend to be aligned with the rebels. They were a normal couple, trapped along with everyone else until Twinsen started to have the dreams. It was a nice moment when Zoe allowed herself to be captured to give Twinsen time to hide.

I think it’s fine to expand the world but they shouldn’t change the core elements of the story. Twinsen doesn’t have a little sister. Major changes to the story like that are not good. If they don’t want to tell Twinsen’s story, they should make a different game.

  14. I’m glad it’s not a shot-for-shot remake and they evolved the storyline. Looks like Zoe’s going to be less of a damsel in distress this time around. (I’m assuming that’s who the “Jodi Benson” sound-alike is, anyway.) Every since I finished Twinsen’s Odyssey in the late 90s, I’ve regularly googled “Little Big Adventure 3” for years, slowly accepting that it’s going to die in obscurity. Even if this is the last installment ever, I’m glad it at least got a chance at new life. 🙂

  15. Although I’ll.always prefer the original (too much emotions and memories involved in this masterpiece)
    The new game looks AMAZING!!
and I’ll buy it for sure (and the second one)

And I just love reading the rest of the comments and see I’m not alone in this…the moment LBA entered my life it’s been divided into two parts.
    Before and after LBA❤❤❤
