A few months ago, we explained the importance of maintaining geographical continuity in outdoor environments. Now, it’s time to show you the results on the first island: Citadel Island.
Citadel Island is where Twinsen and Luna come from. But it’s also home to a tavern, a port with its lighthouse, a “cure facility” guarded by soldiers… and the starting point of your adventure in Little Big Adventure – Twinsen’s Quest!

OMG, I’m so excited! I played this game with my father when I was a child (I’m 36 now).
I can’t wait to play this new game. It bring me back a lot of memories!
Really like the fact that it’s a complete island now instead of the old block loading screen sections in the past game. Can we see Principal Island next please 😁

Also would like to add on the old game at the water tower, there is a teleportation pod. I felt this should of spawned a guard at least as I found this section quite empty on the original game play through. Hopefully on this remake you have added extra guards and/or extra NPC’s in certain empty places where there should of been some in the the original.

This looks good! I am much more excited at the thought of playing an LBA2 remake though. I was a bit too young for LBA1. Hope the LBA2 remake comes to fruition!
Don’t forget to have the cow spawn four leaf clovers when you do the sporty jump behind it (to look like you are having relations). Those little touches really made the game.

I’m definitely excited to (re)discover all of Twinsun. It’s amazing. From the image above, I can extrapolate the bird-view we had when we inspected the map on LBA2. To see the same perspective, but now during the events of LBA1, feels surreal. I can pinpoint every location of the island and see the future changes the place will go through after Twinsen defeats Dr. FunFrock.
@Gustavo makes a good point. Where is the Island of the Dome of the Slate, or Slate Island for short? Are you going to add it? It’s supposed to be visible from Citadel Island. Plus, we never got the full explanation for its existence. Most likely it’s tied to the School of Magic. It would be cool if you could add some additional lore and explanations that we never got from the original games.
Now the next step, if you zoom out again, is the entire hemisphere of Twinsun contained in one 3D open area where you can see all the islands in their geographical locations and do you see the Ferry travelling between the islands in real-time without loading times? 🙂
Looks great! It makes sense to go for this island design since it’s nearly identical to what we saw in LBA2, which handled the continuity issue pretty well. Can’t wait to play it!

It’s a remake of LBA1. In LBA1, you start on Citadel Island too

Oui il est envisagé (et peut être même déjà en cours). Il est visible sur steam avec des screenshot tiré de LBA2 (remasterisé)

First played this in my 40s. At 70, I’d love to play it again. I no longer have a computer or laptop. I’d have to but the hardware to play it on. Any suggestions please as to what would be best. Switch, PS5 or ????
please bet on consoles – computers are DRM-ed hopelessly since demise of Windows 7 and it’s DAZ loader 2.2.2

This is honestly a letdown and is nothing at all like what was pro ised this was rush released when you found a buyer for the game and it was changed too much, it isn’t faithful for the original, despite being the same people behind it, I was looking forward to it, but from what I’ve seen, not any more, and I cna play the original on my phone, for free
